The intervention combines an update to the museum with the preservation of its existing spaces.
The design draws on local building traditions and seeks to retain the character of the building through its restoration and refurbishment.
The material selection includes stone, timber, steel and brick. F5 presents these as the foundation of a lasting architecture beyond passing trends.
